amtterm software package provides Serial-over-lan (sol) client for Intel AMT, console version, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install amtterm
amtterm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the amtterm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep amtterm *
You will get with amtterm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
